Branding
I created artwork and proceeded with the branding of The Trust for African Rock Art premises and vehicles. I cut out rock art motifs on vinyl and used the negatives to reproduce the artworks on the walls and used the positives on the vehicles.
Painting
I decorated the walls Of the Abasuba Museum on the shores of Lake Victoria in Mfangano Island, Kenya. I replicated Rock Art paintings on the walls and designed artwork for the T shirts, banners and other materials required for the grand opening of the Museum.
Vinyl Signs
I designed artwork, cut the vinyl, placed the artwork and supervised the erection of signs for a community project in Turkana, Kenya. I created all the vector art and text in Illustrator.
Exhibiton
I planned, created artwork for, printed the artwork and set up the Rock Painting exhibition in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I created all the artwork in InDesign.
Book Cover Design
I took all the photos used to design the front cover of this book in Photoshop. I took the incomplete design into Illustrator and input all the text, added the spine, the back and corner marks to prepare it for printing. I laid out the pages in InDesign.
Eight Elements Moving
I modeled and animated this helicopter in Lightwave 3D. The whole animation needed to have eight moving parts. In this case I had the helicopter's main rotor, the tail rotor, the smoke, the searchlight, the flag, the clock, the satellite dish and the helicopter itself.
Compositing
I created the model and animation of this plane in Lightwave 3D. I then imported the animation into After Effects where I gave the animation an environment.
Motype
I sketched this font (Motype) on my sketch pad, scanned the drawing and traced the font in Illustrator. I sent the vector files in Font Creator to make the font type able.
Illustrator Brushes
I created a bubble and made it into a brush in Illustrator and used it to decorate the picture above.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photo
I shot this picture three times with the same focal length, camera angle but varying exposures (under exposure, normal and over exposure) to achieve the High Dynamic Range. I merged the three pictures in Photoshop and made adjustments to bring out the effect.
Displacement Mapping (Adobe Photoshop)
Displacement mapping is a technique in Photoshop that allows an artwork or a vector graphics to be mounted on textured images to give an impression that they were originally there by simulating the texture beneath them. It this illustration, 'Mo Tours and Travel' is a vector graphics mounted onto the roof of the building.
